Birth Control For A Safe Sex Part I

When you choose to enjoy the physical pleasure together, the first question that raises in your mind may be the fear of pregnancy. On the present day, when teenage pregnancy is at its peak, the awareness about the birth control methods is very essential. Let the fear of pregnancy not spoil your sexual thrill.

Birth Control Patch
The birth control patch is a thin square patch that sticks to the skin. It releases a combination of the hormones such as progesterone and estrogen to the bloodstream that prevents the ovulation of the girl. The hormones in the patch also thicken the mucus produced in the cervix, thus making the entry of sperm difficult.

The birth control patch can be used by sexually active young women under 90 Kgs. However this birth control method never assures protection against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). They may also carry side effects such as irregular menstrual bleeding, menstrual cramp, breast tenderness, weight gain and blood dots.
